Day 1: Welcome to Chiang Mai.
Warmly welcome to Chiang Mai by pick up you at the Chiang Mai airport.
Day 2: Temples, Markets, and the Old City of Chiang Mai
Start at 9:30 am. we will guide you through some of the most interesting places in Chiang Mai city. You will explore local markets, visit famous ancient temples, and experience traditional Thai life. Enjoy lunch at a local Thai restaurant. In the afternoon, take a relaxing cruise along the Mae Ping River, the lifeline of Chiang Mai for agriculture, transportation, and irrigation. At the Farmer’s House, where the boat stops, the boatman will show you around their small garden filled with Thai herbs and vegetables. Taste fresh organic fruits before we drive back to hotel.
💡 Tip: Wear flip-flops today for your comfort, as we will visit many temples and often need to take off our shoes.
Day 3: Elephant Experience
Start time: 7:00–7:30 a.m. Get ready for an adventure with elephants in a beautiful nature camp. Bring clothes you don’t mind getting wet or dirty. Today you’ll befriend elephants, feed them, bathe them in the pool, and learn how to care for them. A fun and unforgettable day!
Day 4: Visit Doi Inthanon National Park
Our journey begins at 8:30 a.m. from the hotel. The first stop is the stunning Watchirathan Waterfall, one of the park’s most beautiful. Next, we’ll drive to the highest point of Doi Inthanon, where you can enjoy a peaceful walk along the Ang Ka Nature Trail and pay respects at the King Inthanon Memorial Shrine. After lunch, visit the magnificent Twin Royal Pagodas, dedicated to the King and Queen of Thailand, offering breathtaking mountain and countryside views. Continue with a 2-hour scenic hike to a hidden waterfall, passing traditional farm cottages, rice fields, and vibrant hill tribe flower farms. Finally, stop at a Karen hill tribe village, where you can relax at their self-sustaining organic coffee shop, meet the locals, and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee before returning to Chiang Mai. This tour combines nature, culture, and adventure—an unforgettable experience at the very top of Thailand.
Day 5: Relax at the Lake & Visit Doi Suthep Temple
Start at 9:30 a.m. we’ll drive up the mountain to visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, the most famous temple in Chiang Mai, with its holy golden pagoda. In the afternoon, relax by a beautiful local lake, where Chiang Mai families spend their free time. You’ll have your own small hut by the water and enjoy delicious local dishes for lunch. If you like, you can even swim in the lake.
Day 6: Chiang Dao Cave & Sticky Waterfall
Start: 8:30 a.m. we will drive to Chiang Dao District to explore Chiang Dao Cave, filled with stunning stalactites, stalagmites, and Burmese-style Buddha statues. For Buddhists, the cave is an important meditation retreat, home to sacred statues such as the revered Kruba Srivichai and a reclining Burmese Buddha. A local village guide will proudly share the cave’s history and stories. After lunch, visit a unique modern temple (Wat Baan Den), known for its grand wooden architecture and the largest reclining Buddha in Chiang Mai. Then, we continue to the amazing Bua Thong Waterfall, also called the Sticky Waterfall. Thanks to its limestone surface, you can easily climb up and down without slipping, making it a fun and safe adventure.
Day 7: Farewell, after breakfast, we will drive you to Chiang Mai Airport, bus or train station, or to any destination in Chiang Mai. Time to say goodbye!
